    channel.

    K-Rock was already chugging along before Howard joined. Jay Thomas was the
    morning guy. He was already pretty well known in NYC because he was the
    morning guy on 99X, & 92KTU, as well a being a regular on the TV show Mork
    & Mindy. When Howard was hired by K-Rock, he was the afternoon guy for
    several months, before moving to mornings to replace Thomas.
